We are excited to welcome Dr. Caroline W. Laggis
to Mountain West Dermatology, PC
Caroline W. Laggis, MD is a graduate of the University of Utah Dermatology Residency program, where she received 3 years of in-depth training in general dermatology, complicated medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and skin surgery. While in residency, she completed research on an array of subjects, including cutaneous lymphoma, global dermatology, and teledermatology and served as the Chief Resident prior to her graduation. Dr. Laggis completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, where she was born and raised. She was awarded AOA membership during medical school, indicating her position in this prestigious national medical honors society. She has over 10 peer-reviewed publications, and has contributed to the Next Steps in Derm blog. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Georgia Honors College, where she studied Medical Anthropology, Spanish, and pre-medical science courses.
In her free time, Dr. Laggis enjoys mountain biking, camping, hiking, and exploring the Grand Valley with her husband, David, and their ginger-headed toddler.
Dr. Laggis is excited to be a part of the community here in the valley and appreciates the opportunity to take care of dermatology patients of all needs.
